The archive of untold stories

During this two week residency at ZSenne Art Lab I’m collecting and unfolding stories that haven’t yet been told. This last year as well, different projects sprouted that might simply end up in that archive. So it’s also a showroom for curators and programmers who can pick out one of these idea’s. But mainly the residency is a place to experiment with presentation.

The projects and ‘beurs’-fundings for 2020 will be announced on january 15th, so it’ll be clear if I can start financing these plans. What will be possible and how can I counter a possible lack of means?

a selection from the proposals:

Marklin: a collection of Hi-res-low-quality aerial photography. Strada: a research into the quality of the highway as a landscape and a biotope. Universal Minutes: a photography project curated by Random Scream (Davis Freeman and me) with ‘resistance’ as a main theme. Borders: a landscape photography project about borders and how (in)visible they seem. Nightlife: a collection of nighttime portraits of the people surrounding me. Molly: the story of great grand aunt Molly English: governess, hotelmanager, nurse and employed by the belgian government in London during WW2. The extinction survival archive: what can I pass on to my children and grand- children in order to survive the collapse of our ecosystem
